John 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. 41 And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spoke of this man were true. 42 And many believed on him there. John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. 18. I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me. 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me. Acts 4:4 How be it many of them which heard the word believed; and the number of the men was about five thousand. Acts 7:17. But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, Acts 9:42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord. Acts 11:17 For as much then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? 21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord. Acts 13:12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord. 23 Of this man's seed has God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Savior, Jesus: 32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, 33 God has fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he has raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you. 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed. And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. 1 Corinthians 10:13 There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it. 2 Corinthians 1:18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay. 20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. 22 But the scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. Galatians 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a free woman. 23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the free woman was by promise. 28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. Ephesians 1:13 In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: [God keeps His promises!] 1 Thessalonians 5:24 Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil. 1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe. 2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 2 Timothy 2:11 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abides faithful: he cannot deny himself. 19. Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1 Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. 2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 3:9. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long-suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines. 1 John 5:6. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he has testified of his Son. 10. He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son. 20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. Revelation 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he does judge and make war. This attribute affects me more than any other. maybe it is because I am so up and down - variable in the dimension of my commitment to God. Yet God never fluctuates. God's commitment to us is unwavering. He never fails. Since God and His attributes are Eternal and one of His names is Rock, it holds that He is Unchanging also. What a comfort we can take that our God will never change, although the world and the people around us constantly do. What God is and has done, He will be and do forever. We can stand on that. We may not think that the characteristics of believed in and trusted in are true characteristics. But think of the many people that are not deserving of such, whether of this world or not. Truly our God is worthy of these because of who He is. They show His character.
