Genesis 49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from there is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

Exodus 15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. 13 You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation. 17 You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which you have made for you to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which your hands have established.

Exodus 17:6 Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you shall smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: you are waxen fat, you are grown thick, you are covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly esteemed the Rock of his salvation. 18 Of the Rock that begot you, you are unmindful, and have forgotten God that formed you. 30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the LORD had shut them up? 31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

Deuteronomy 33:12. And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the LORD shall dwell in safety by him; and the LORD shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders. 27 The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before you; and shall say, Destroy them. 29 Happy are you, O Israel: who is like unto you, O people saved by the LORD, the shield of your help, and who is the sword of your excellency! and your enemies shall be found liars unto you; and you shall tread upon their high places.

And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; 3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. 31 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 32 For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God? 47 The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation. 51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and shows mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed forevermore.

Revelation 3:10 Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

We have a rich offer to live in God and for God to live in us. That has been His desire for us revealed from Exodus to Revelation. While God abides in us, it is our choice whether or not to abide in Him.

If anything comes to attack us, let's run to the impenetrable High Tower of Jesus' name. Better yet, let's never leave....

We need to be aware that many problems, temptations and trials that never come close to us because God is our Defense. There is only one thing we can build our lives on one foundation that is eternal. Let's make sure that God's principles rule our lives and not those of the world. We need to make sure God is the center of our lives, running every area. Only then will we be balanced, founded and never shaken.
