And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them to me. 23. Deuteronomy 8:3 And he humbled you, and allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna, which you knew not, neither did your fathers know; that he might make you know that man does not live by bread only, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the LORD does man live. 20 As the nations which the LORD destroys before your face, so shall you perish; because you would not be obedient to the voice of the LORD your God.

And, behold, there came a voice to him, and said, What do you here, Elijah?

Job 35:10 But none says, Where is God my maker, who gives songs in the night;

Psalms 29:3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters. 4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. 5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. 6 He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. 7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. 8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. 9 The voice of the LORD makes the hinds to calve, and makes bare the forests: and in his temple does every one speak of his glory.

Psalms 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. 2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all your commandments. 7 I will praise you with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned your righteous judgments. 9 How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed to it according to your word. 11 Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you. 16 I will delight myself in your statutes: I will not forget your word. 18 Open you my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. 22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept your testimonies. 24 Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors. 25 My soul cleaves to the dust: revive you me according to your word. 28 My soul melts for heaviness: strengthen me according to your word. 31 I cleave to your testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame. 38 Establish your word to your servant, who is devoted to your fear. 41 Let your mercies come also to me, O LORD, even your salvation, according to your word. 42 So shall I have with which to answer him that reproaches me: for I trust in your word. 43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in your judgments. 45 And I will walk at liberty: for I seek your precepts. 49 Remember the word to your servant, upon which you have caused me to hope. 50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for your word has revived me. 52 I remembered your judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself. 54. Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. 58. I entreated your favor with my whole heart: be merciful to me according to your word. 62. At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you because of your righteous judgments. 65 You have dealt well with your servant, O LORD, according to your word. 66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed your commandments. 72. The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver. 76. Let, I pray you, your merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant. 77 Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live: for your law is my delight. 80. Let my heart be sound in your statutes; that I may not be ashamed. 86 All your commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help me. 89 Forever, O LORD, your word is settled in heaven. 92. Unless your law had been my delight, I should then have perished in my affliction. 93. I will never forget your precepts: for with them you have revived me. 94 I am yours, save me; for I have sought your precepts. 98 You through your commandments have made me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for your testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep your precepts. 103 How sweet are your words to my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 Through your precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. 107. I am afflicted very much: revive me, O LORD, according to your word. 111 Your testimonies have I taken as a heritage forever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart. 115 Depart from me, you evil doers: for I will keep the commandments of my God. 116 Uphold me according to your word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope. 123 My eyes fail for your salvation, and for the word of your righteousness. 129 Your testimonies are wonderful: therefore does my soul keep them. 130 The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. 137 Righteous are you, O LORD, and upright are your judgments. 138 Your testimonies that you have commanded are righteous and very faithful. 140 Your word is very pure: therefore your servant loves it. 142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your law is the truth. 143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet your commandments are my delights. 144 The righteousness of your testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live. 149 Hear my voice according to your loving-kindness: O LORD, revive me according to your judgment. 151 You are near, O LORD; and all your commandments are truth. 152 Concerning your testimonies, I have known of old that you have founded them forever. 154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: revive me according to your word. 156 Great are your tender mercies, O LORD: revive me according to your judgments. 160 Your word is true from the beginning: and every one of your righteous judgments endures forever. 161 Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart stands in awe of your word. 162 I rejoice at your word, as one that finds great spoil. 164 Seven times a day do I praise you because of your righteous judgments. 165 Great peace have they who love your law: and nothing shall cause them to stumble. 169 Let my cry come near before you, O LORD: give me understanding according to your word. 170 Let my supplication come before you: deliver me according to your word. 172 My tongue shall speak of your word: for all your commandments are righteousness. 173 Let your hand help me; for I have chosen your precepts. 174 I have longed for your salvation, O LORD; and your law is my delight. 175 Let my soul live, and it shall praise you; and let your judgments help me.

Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that proceeds from my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] for which I sent it.

Ezekiel 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one speaking. 2:1 And he said to me, Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak to you. 2 And the spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spoke to me. 8 But you, son of man, hear what I say to you; Be not you rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that which I give you. 9 And when I looked, behold, a hand was sent to me; and, lo, a scroll was in it; 10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written in it lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

Matthew 26:54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be? 56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

Mark 7:13 Making the word of God of no effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and many such like things you do.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Mark 15:27 And with him they crucified two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his left. 28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which says, And he was numbered with the transgressors.

Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. 21 And he began to say to them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. 22 And all bore him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son? 32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

Luke 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it. 6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture. 7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it. 8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bore fruit a hundred-fold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear. 9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What does this parable mean? 10 And he said, To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand. 11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then comes the devil, and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. 13 They on the rock are they, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. 14 And that which fell among thorns are they, who, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. 15 But that on the good ground are they, who in a honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Luke 10:20 However in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than one tittle of the law to fail.

Luke 24:25 Then he said to them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: 26 Ought not Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory? 27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 3:29 He that has the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say to you, He that hears my word, and believes on him that sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but has passed from death to life. 25 Verily, verily, I say to you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. 28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 39 Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life. 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? you have the words of eternal life.

John 7:38 He that believes on me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water. 42 Has not the scripture said, That Christ comes from the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? 46 The officers answered, Never man spoke like this man.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus to them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things. 47 He that is of God hears God's words: you therefore hear them not, because you are not of God.

John 10:3 To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. 4 And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 35 If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

John 12:28 Father, glorify your name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spoke to him. 30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. 48 He that rejects me, and receives not my words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

John 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.

John 14:24 He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but that of the Father who sent me.

John 17:6 I have manifested your name to the men whom you gave to me out of the world: yours they were, and you gave them to me; and they have kept your word. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name: those that you gave to me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. 14 I have given to them your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17. Sanctify them through your truth: your word is truth.

John 18:37 Pilate therefore said to him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.

John 19:24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which says, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did. 28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, I thirst. 33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they broke not his legs: 34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and immediately came out blood and water. 36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. 37 And again another scripture says, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will, in those, days pour out of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Acts 7:6 And God spoke in this way, That his offspring should sojourn in a foreign land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and oppress them four hundred years.

Acts 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shone around him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me? 5 And he said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute: it is hard for you to kick against the goads. 6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what will you have me to do? And the Lord said to him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do. 7 And the men who journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. 10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord. 15 But the Lord said to him, Go: for he is a chosen vessel to me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Acts 10:13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spoke to him again the second time, What God has cleansed, that call not you common. 16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received again into heaven.

Acts 12:24 But the word of God grew and multiplied.

Acts 18:28 For he mightily convinced the Jews, and that publicly, showing by the scriptures that Jesus was Christ.

Acts 19:19 Many also of them who practiced magic brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed.

Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them who are sanctified.

Romans 3:1 What advantage then has the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 2 Much every way: chiefly, because that to them were committed the oracles of God.

Romans 9:9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son.

Romans 10:8 But what says it? The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 15:4 For whatever things were written in former times were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Romans 16:26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

2 Corinthians 3:3 For as much as you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not on tables of stone, but on fleshly tables of the heart. 7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be more glorious?

2 Corinthians 6:17 Therefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles through faith, preached before the gospel to Abraham, saying, In you shall all nations be blessed. 22 But the scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also we thank God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of demons; 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it is received with thanksgiving: 5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2 Timothy 3:15 And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works.

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, 2 Has in these last days spoken to us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by them that heard him;

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation to all them that obey him; 12 For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need of one to teach you again which are the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food. 13 For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

Hebrews 7:28 For the law makes men high priests who have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was after the law, makes the Son, who is consecrated forevermore.

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 30 For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs to me, I will recompense, says the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

James 1:18 Of his own will he has begotten us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. 21 Therefore put away all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any is a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror: 24 For he beholds himself, and goes away, and immediately forgets what manner of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues in it, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever. 24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away: 25 But the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to you.

1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow by it:

2 Peter 1:17 For he received from God the Father honor and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him on the holy mount. 19. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; to which you do well that you take heed, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit: and these three are one.

Revelation 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia; to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea. 12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned, I saw seven golden lamp-stands; 17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying to me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: 19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be after this;

Revelation 2:17 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no man knows except he that receives it.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 10 Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 12 Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Revelation 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightning and thundering and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Revelation 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again, and said, Go and take the little scroll which is open in the hand of the angel which stands upon the sea and upon the earth.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Zion, and with him a hundred and forty four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 13. And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works follow them.

Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are your ways, you King of saints.

Revelation 17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.

Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 16 And he has on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of the things which were written in the books, according to their works. 15 And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said to me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. 27 And there shall by no means enter into it any thing that defiles, neither whoever works abomination, or makes a lie: but they who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Some doubt that God talks to man today. It is hard to imagine our God, who has talked to man from Genesis to Revelation and who never changes, suddenly quit talking. Maybe we just quit listening. That's the bottom lime question, do we listen and read what our dear Lord has communicated to us? Aren't we glad He is not silent.

No wonder we sense God's presence when we sing to Him. Song is one of His names. Music is part of His being.

Jesus is the Word made flesh. the descriptions that apply to the word apply also to Him. Let's absorb all of the word in us in as many ways as possible and apply it to our lives. A person is only as good as their word. Imagine who wonderful our God is on this basis.
